With the easing of lockdown restrictions and the success of the on-going nationwide vaccination program we are pleased to announce that the church buildings in the Benefice are re-opening for public worship and private prayer!
Christ Church, Henton: Open for Sunday worship from 4 April and for private prayer from 5 April. A service of morning prayer will be held each Monday at 9:15am from 12 April.
St Matthew's, Wookey: Open for Sunday worship from 25 April. A service of morning prayer will be held each Tuesday at 9:15am from 27 April.
Christ Church, Coxley: Open for Sunday worship from 2 May. A service of morning prayer will be held each Wednesday at 9:15am from 5 May.
Although God has been with us as we have worshipped online or in the privacy of our own homes whilst our church buildings have been closed the church, at its core, is a gathered group of people coming together as the embodied body of Christ and so being able to worship together once again, in person, is a moment to celebrate. Unfortunately, our Sunday Breakfast services will still be online and our Sunday Brunch service is still cancelled until restrictions surrounding the serving of food and drink ease further.
Please click on the links below to refresh yourself of our service pattern so you can find out where you can worship this Sunday!
