Hear all about the life – and death - of the Duke of Monmouth, from being the adored illegitimate firstborn son of  Charles II, through to his exile. The talk will also cover the implications of the seven Assize Courts held throughout the West country. Please be warned it's not a talk for the squeamish, as it contains accurate accounts of executions.
