SACRED SPACE

WHAT IS SACRED SPACE?

Sacred Space for Advent is an opportunity to get away from the busyness of preparing for Christmas and take some time to pause and reflect.

This year there will be reflections on how animals adapt to winter, waiting in the cold and darkness for the return of light and hope.

7:00 - 7:45pm is a time for silent prayers and reflection in a candle-lit space. 7:45 - 8:00pm is a short service, which you can join in with, leave before, or remain in silent personal reflection.

WHERE & WHEN?

Yes! Christ Church Henton you are welcome to drop in for a few minutes, or stay for the full hour. During the last 15 minutes there will be readings and prayers read aloud.

WHO IS SACRED SPACE FOR?

Sacred Space is for everyone! Many people find the church a special place to be still and pray.

For Christians, the reason behind Christmas celebrations can get pushed to one side. Sacred Space can give you that opportunity to meet with God through prayer and contemplation. It's a time to ponder the mystery of Christ’s birth and the need for that birth.
