The Parish Churches of Coxley with Godney, Henton & Wookey

We have many people in our churches who have the skills, experience and professional qualifications to help people in our communities.  Our parish visiting team was set up this year and are willing to use this experience, for example, to see the lonely, bereaved and isolated at home.

 

All of our visitors are volunteers who have completed the lay pastoral assistant training course and many have an area of focus and expertise.  They are accredited by our churches to support the pastoral work in the parish. They usually visit people in their own home;  the aim of the visits is agreed with the person.
