Supporting the YMCA

YMCA Brunel Group provides 174 safe beds a night to 16/25 year olds and adults, covering Bath, Bristol, Mendip and South Somerset. They aim to give every person staying with them a small box of gifts: for many these will be the only presents they receive.

​

Suitable items include: chocolate, biscuits, Christmas treats, smellies (including shower gel and shampoo), toothpaste, tooth-brushes, deodorant, socks, gloves, scarves, and beanie hats.

​

Last year CHW Churches helped to collect items for the YMCA, and we're proud to be doing so for a second year! If you can help to provide some of the gifts listed above - please don't wrap them - but drop them off at one of the services listed below, and we'll pass them over to the YMCA:

  • Christingle: Festive Celebration - 3pm Sunday 14th December - Wookey Church

  • Henton Carol Service - 6:30pm Wednesday 17th December - Henton Church

  • Wookey Carol Service - 4pm Sunday 21st December - Wookey Church
